Saija Bezuidenhout
Saija’s passion lies in smooth and clear internal logistics in everyday operations, designed to enable efficient production and the company’s strategic growth. According to Saija, one of the biggest misconceptions in logistics is that efficiency always requires million-euro automation, additional floor space, or a new system.
In reality, the greatest potential in internal logistics often lies in eliminating waste, fine-tuning processes, and improving collaboration between people – things that initially require time and a more intelligently planned way of working. New, impressive technology or a new system will not fix fundamental problems; in some cases, it only makes them more complex and hides them from view.
Saija holds a Doctor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management and an MBA. She has over 20 years of experience in international business and demanding global industrial environments, covering both project-based and serial production in sectors such as the marine, defence, and automotive industries.
She specialises in leading large, strategically critical development projects that require the ability to manage complex entities and to spar on strategic planning. This international experience, combined with strong change management expertise, ensures that even the most complex material flows and organisational structures can be streamlined into an efficient whole that supports the business.
