ZaaS – Ziirto as a Service
In the first phase, Ziirto carried out a WorkStudy360 current-state analysis for EJOT Sormat. EJOT Sormat already had a good understanding of the current state of logistics and its processes. The purpose of the analysis was to confirm the right improvement actions – and to implement them in the best possible order. To accelerate its growth plan, the company acquired project-based logistics expertise. This is where Ziirto helped.
During the project, the required baseline data was collected for comprehensive planning of the new facility. In the upcoming design work, intralogistics was reviewed holistically rather than through sub-optimization. For this purpose, the analysis covered, among other things, the current equipment fleet, warehouse automation and systems, and storage methods. MOST motion sequence analyses were used as part of the current-state mapping. With the data obtained, it becomes significantly easier to drive improvement actions forward and prioritize their implementation order.
In the second phase, the information and data produced in phase one were used in WorkStudy360 warehouse layout design. The service covers the entire intralogistics scope – from warehouse layout design and automation all the way to personnel resourcing.
